General terms and conditions
1. Cancellation policy
– Between 20 and 7 days before departure: 30% cancellation fee.
– Between 7 and 2 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.
– The day before or the same day: 100% cancellation fee.
2. Driving time and rest periods for drivers
Daily driving time
A driver may drive up to 9 hours a day, extended to a maximum of 10 hours, twice a week.
Between 9pm and 6am, continuous driving time is limited to 4 hours.
Continuous driving time
A driver may drive continuously for 4h30, followed by a compulsory break of at least 45 minutes.
Alternatively, a 15-minute break, followed by a 30-minute break, may be taken during the 4h30.
Daily rest period
Daily rest is set at a minimum of 11 hours, which can be reduced to 9 hours three times a week.
Weekly rest periods
A driver may not drive for more than 6 consecutive days. Rest on the 7thᵉ day is compulsory.
Exception: in European Union countries (excluding France), driving may go on for up to 12 consecutive days.
3. Regulation of working hours
The maximum range (time between the start and end of service) is:
– 14 hours for a single driver.
– 18 hours for a crew (two drivers).
The amplitude is interrupted if the driver has a rest break of at least 9 hours.
4. Long-stay management
For extended stays:
– One day will be subcontracted to a local coach operator in order to comply with regulations.
– Alternatively, the group will have to plan a day without using the coach.
